This book about the ‘Festival van Vlaanderen’ tells the complete story of the collaboration between musicians, organisations and governments. It offers a unique view into the Flemish cultural landscape over the past 50 years.

Mathieu Vancamp and I designed the interior pages, richly illustrated with archival imagery that show the past and future of the Festival. Each chapter has its own characteristic colour from a palette that reflects the atmosphere of classical music and complements the often black-and-white photography.
